Looking for an OCD therapist online? Compare relevant experience, ask about ERP, check current fees and choose a first appointment.
Titles and registration requirements differ, so Mindara uses profession-aware verification and displays the provider's submitted professional details.
How provider verification worksMindara restricts account and care information by role and uses secure transport. Your employer does not receive individual session content through an EAP plan. Review the privacy policy for processing details.
Read the privacy policyThe exact provider, session format, duration, price, taxes and payment method are shown before checkout.
See current pricingBefore you cancel, Mindara shows the applicable cancellation window, refund percentage and destination. Eligibility depends on the service, timing, reason and mandatory consumer rights. If a provider cannot deliver a paid session, the payment or eligible session credit is returned through the applicable refund process.

It is not an emergency service, and a booking does not guarantee a diagnosis, prescription or result. If there is immediate danger or risk of harm, contact local emergency services or use the crisis resources page.

You may be searching because repeated thoughts, checking or rituals are taking up time, or because someone has recommended an assessment. You can describe what is happening without arriving with a diagnosis. Read profiles for experience working with OCD and ask what the first appointment can establish.
This page helps you compare an appointment. For a broader explanation, read our OCD information and provider directory.
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) is a form of CBT used for OCD. A clinician can explain whether it fits your situation. Ask about their training, how they agree goals with you and what support is available between sessions. A general mention of CBT on a profile does not establish specialist ERP experience.
You can ask: “How do you work with intrusive thoughts or mental rituals?” and “How would we agree what to practise?” You do not need to attempt exercises from a search result before meeting someone.
A therapy appointment and a medical consultation serve different purposes. For a medical assessment or medication discussion, compare psychiatry consultations. Tell each professional about care you already receive and ask how coordination would work, with your permission.
Do not change an existing prescription based on this page. Ask the prescribing doctor about benefits, side effects and follow-up.
Write down a few examples of what has become difficult, what you avoid and what you want to change. You may prefer to bring a short note rather than explain everything immediately. Ask how the professional handles sensitive information and what their privacy arrangements are.
Check the exact appointment duration and fee, whether an assessment is a separate service and what follow-up costs. Ask when you would review the plan together rather than assuming a fixed course of sessions. Read our guide to comparing online therapy costs.
You can book to discuss your concerns. Ask the professional whether their assessment and therapy scope fits your needs.
Do not assume so. Ask directly about OCD and ERP training and experience.
Ask the professional whether an online appointment fits your circumstances and what would require in-person care.
The professional should discuss a plan after understanding your needs. A search page cannot predict the number or outcome.
You can change your mind at any point, and you are not tied to your first choice.
