Insomnia and sleep
Compare professionals for sleep concerns. Ask about insomnia experience, understand medical and therapy options, and check session fees before booking.
Titles and registration requirements differ, so Mindara uses profession-aware verification and displays the provider's submitted professional details.
How provider verification worksMindara restricts account and care information by role and uses secure transport. Your employer does not receive individual session content through an EAP plan. Review the privacy policy for processing details.
Read the privacy policyThe exact provider, session format, duration, price, taxes and payment method are shown before checkout.
See current pricingBefore you cancel, Mindara shows the applicable cancellation window, refund percentage and destination. Eligibility depends on the service, timing, reason and mandatory consumer rights. If a provider cannot deliver a paid session, the payment or eligible session credit is returned through the applicable refund process.

It is not an emergency service, and a booking does not guarantee a diagnosis, prescription or result. If there is immediate danger or risk of harm, contact local emergency services or use the crisis resources page.

Explain whether your concern is falling asleep, waking during the night, a changing schedule or how sleep affects your day. A clinician can consider whether a medical assessment is needed. A habit-coaching appointment and treatment for a sleep disorder are different services.
Start with the insomnia information and provider page if you want background before comparing appointments.
Cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is a structured treatment used for ongoing insomnia. Ask whether the professional has relevant training and whether they actually offer it. A profile that mentions sleep or general CBT does not establish CBT-I training.
Ask how they assess your needs and which parts of care can appropriately happen online. Do not begin restrictive sleep exercises solely from reading a page.
Discuss new or persistent sleep problems, medicines and other health concerns with a doctor. Tell them about breathing concerns during sleep or daytime sleepiness that affects safety. Medication questions belong with an appropriately qualified prescriber, not a coaching service.
Compare psychiatry consultations when mental-health assessment or prescription review is relevant. Other sleep concerns may need a different medical specialty.
Make a short note of work hours, usual bedtime and wake time, medicines and what you have already tried. Ask whether the professional wants any records before your appointment. You do not need a wearable device or a perfect sleep diary to ask for help.
Check qualifications, language, session format and fee. Ask what follow-up would involve and how recommendations fit around shift work or caring responsibilities. Read our sleep and mental-health guide and appointment cost checklist.
No. Check qualifications and scope. Habit coaching is different from medical assessment or a structured clinical treatment.
No. Ask directly about training and the service they offer.
Book an appropriately qualified doctor for prescription questions. Do not change medicines based on this page.
You can ask for help without one. Ask the professional what information would be useful.
You can change your mind at any point, and you are not tied to your first choice.
