Online counselling for work stress and burnout

Talk about workplace stress and exhaustion. Compare professionals, check languages and fees, and choose support that fits your circumstances.

What you can count on

  • How we check professionals

Titles and registration requirements differ, so Mindara uses profession-aware verification and displays the provider's submitted professional details.

    How provider verification works
  • Privacy

Mindara restricts account and care information by role and uses secure transport. Your employer does not receive individual session content through an EAP plan. Review the privacy policy for processing details.

    Read the privacy policy
  • What you pay

The exact provider, session format, duration, price, taxes and payment method are shown before checkout.

    See current pricing
  • Cancellations and refunds

Before you cancel, Mindara shows the applicable cancellation window, refund percentage and destination. Eligibility depends on the service, timing, reason and mandatory consumer rights. If a provider cannot deliver a paid session, the payment or eligible session credit is returned through the applicable refund process.

  • What this service is not

Online care is not appropriate for every situation. It is not an emergency service, and a booking does not guarantee a diagnosis, prescription or result. If there is immediate danger or risk of harm, contact local emergency services or use the crisis resources page.

What to know before you decide

Talk about the pressure behind the exhaustion

Work pressure, competing responsibilities and feeling unable to switch off can be difficult to explain in a short conversation. You can ask for support without first proving that your experience fits a particular label. Describe what is becoming harder and what you want help thinking through.

What burnout means here

WHO describes burnout as an occupational phenomenon related to ongoing workplace stress, rather than a medical diagnosis. A label does not explain every cause of exhaustion. A clinician can consider concerns such as low mood or sleep problems rather than assuming everything is caused by work.

Read burnout meaning in Hindi or our workplace burnout guide.

What to ask a counselling professional

Ask about experience with work stress, boundaries and difficult decisions. Discuss what the sessions would focus on, how goals are agreed and what can realistically change within your circumstances. Counselling cannot promise to change an employer or remove financial and caring responsibilities.

A personal appointment and an employer programme are different

If work provides an employee assistance programme, ask who can access information and which terms apply before sharing details. A personally booked appointment has its own privacy and payment arrangements. Read the relevant terms rather than assuming either service is anonymous.

Choose your next step

Questions people ask

Do I need a burnout diagnosis to book?

No. Describe the pressures you are facing and what you want help with.

Can counselling make my workplace change?

It cannot guarantee changes by an employer. Ask what support is within the professional’s scope.

Is all exhaustion burnout?

No. Discuss persistent or worrying symptoms with a clinician rather than assuming a cause.

Can I choose an appointment outside work hours?

Check each professional’s actual availability before booking.
